Celebrating Together: WireCrafters' Company Outing
At WireCrafters, we believe in working hard and enjoying time with our work family. Our recent company outing was a testament to this philosophy, filled with laughter, delicious food, fun games, and unforgettable moments together.
We kicked off the afternoon with a catered lunch from Mission BBQ. As we gathered to enjoy our meals, it was clear that this was more than just a lunch - it was a chance to bond and spend time outside of work with one another.
“Every day, we ask our employees to go above and beyond to get the work out for our customers,” said Director of Operational Excellence and Culture Team Leader David Shearn. “We just wanted to take some time to recognize all the hard work and dedication everyone puts in daily.”
To sweeten the day, employees were treated to either a snow cone from Kona Ice or a choice of ice cream provided by WireCrafters, ensuring everyone found a refreshing treat to their liking.
Employees nominated and recognized for Core Value awards had their names entered into a drawing for a unique opportunity at the outing. The lucky winners got the chance to pie a work leader in the face!
The competitive spirit was in full swing as employees enjoyed games of cornhole throughout the afternoon. Additionally, employees had the chance to try their luck at the “longest toss” game for a chance to win a cash prize.
This company outing was more than just a few hours off work; it was a celebration of our WireCrafters family. It reminded us of the importance of coming together, appreciating each other, and creating moments reinforcing our bonds.
“We are having an unbelievable year, a record-setting year,” said company President Milt Tandy. “We have both great people and a quality product. Today is an opportunity to thank our people for doing a tremendous job.”
