Customer Description
The cannabis grower and processor faced a critical challenge in securing their product during the storage phase before it was sent to an independent lab for testing of THC levels and chemical impurities. To meet stringent DEA regulations, they required a secure storage area that would protect cannabis materials, prevent unauthorized access, and maintain the integrity of their inventory. They risked delays, legal issues, and compromised product quality without a compliant solution.
To address this, WireCrafters provided a large DEA-approved cage with critical features designed to meet the customer’s operational needs. The cage included two swing doors with fob key entry for employees to access the area using a pallet jack. Additionally, we installed a 10' x 10' tall slider gate, equipped with an automatic opener, to allow forklifts and vans easy access to the cage's interior. This secure storage area was critical for storing products while waiting for independent inspection before moving into the distribution area, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
