In honor of Customer Service Week, we would like to introduce you to our Receptionist Kaitlyn Ives. If you call in to WireCrafters, there's a pretty good chance you'll get to talk to her.

Meet Kaitlyn Ives

Position:
Receptionist

What do you typically do day to day?

I answer phone calls, make paint labels for the shop, convert and checks sales orders, send out Shipment notices and Advance Shipment notices, cost and close sales orders, deliver the mail to the correct recipients and file away closed orders.

How long have you been at WireCrafters?

Almost 7 months

What is your favorite part about your job?

I don’t particular have a favorite because there is so many things that I enjoy. But if I had to choose one it would be the people that I work with.

Tell us a fun, funny, or positive story about WireCrafters or something that has happened at work.

I think the funniest thing is watching Milt and David come up with an idea for a Monday’s with Milt episode. All of those videos are pretty funny and customers usually always comment about where the next one will be filmed at.

Tell us about yourself

I’m from a small town just outside of Louisville. I have an older brother; however, I am the favorite. I enjoy spending time with my family, most importantly my grandparents. I enjoy doing anything outdoors. My favorite thing to do is ride the four-wheeler at the farm. I’m a pretty out going person and I’m typically not shy. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.
