WireCrafters Hosts WFA for Facility Tour
We were thrilled to host the Wire Fabricators Association (WFA) at WireCrafters for an exciting facility tour! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers and share our passion for wire fabrication. Members of the WFA represented companies responsible for making pallet rack decking, appliance shelving, construction reinforcement mesh, metal tubing, mesh fabrication machines, powder coating products, tomato cages, and wire producers, to name a few.
WireCrafters hosted the WFA tour to fulfill a membership requirement and proactively share their manufacturing and lean processes with member companies. WireCrafters aimed to exchange best practices and learn new techniques from industry peers by volunteering for this opportunity. This tour served as a platform for continuous improvement within the company while fostering team building and collaboration among WireCrafters' staff.
The day began with a warm welcome as WFA members toured our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Attendees explored our innovative processes, witnessing firsthand how we uphold our commitment to quality and efficiency.
“Hosting the WFA tour was a great opportunity to share best practices as to what makes WireCrafters unique as a manufacturer, as well as learn from others on possible new techniques,” said WireCrafters’ Executive Vice President Rich Horn. Horn is also Vice President of the WFA. “By relying on our team members to present information and host visitors, they get to communicate their pride in their work. Hosting tours is a great opportunity to learn from others, check in on our processes, and boost team morale by showing others the great things we do every day. I am very proud of our team, and they nailed it!”
After the tour, we enjoyed a catered lunch from Mission BBQ. The savory flavors and friendly atmosphere made for a perfect setting to continue the conversations sparked during the tour. It was a great way to unwind and build stronger connections within our community.
Thank you to the WFA for joining us. We look forward to future collaborations and continued growth in the wire fabrication industry!
