- Welcome to another episode of Mondays with Milt. Now today I'm back out here on the production floor and as I was walking around, I noticed that we had some very large pieces of tubing here, and along with this tubing we have some gusset plates and we've got cane bolt attachment. So I was kinda curious as to what we were making here. I knew that it was a double hinge door, and that's exactly what we have. This is a very custom, eight foot wide by 16 foot tall double hinge door. That would be, you know, probably as tall as the ceiling in here, in the building. We have a customer that has a need to put one of these large doors in front of a security area. Along with the cane bolt assembly here, there's also a castor assembly, so that when you open the door, you don't have all the weight on the hinges, and on the post, it's actually riding on a castor along the floor. So that's just one example of a really custom application we can do. An eight foot, by 16 foot double hinge door. So that's pretty good.
