Safety in Your Facility - Mondays With Milt

Welcome to another episode of Mondays With Milt. Now today, I'm back out in the shop again. Now, your people, they are your greatest asset, and that's the reason we have safety equipment, our products, all around this facility. That way, we can make sure that our employees will go home the same way they came, in good shape and safe. Now in this area here, this is where we've got a robot that welds the base plates onto our upright posts.

Machine Guard and GuardRail

To keep everybody safe from the robot, we got the Machine Guard, we've got Weld Curtains on the Machine Guard, and then we've got the GuardRail here. So that way, the workers are safe and secure. So in this area, we're storing different materials on these bays of pallet racks using our Toyota forklift here. But on the reverse side, we've got welders up and down this aisle. In particular, right here we've got a gentleman welding, but we've got the RackBack up to keep those materials on the rack and not coming down on him. Just another way to keep your employees safe and secure.

Driver Access Cages

Okay, and the last place I'll show you. This is our Drivers Cage. Now, we're not necessarily keeping our employees safe, but we're keeping the drivers that come in to our facility...we're keeping those guys safe. We're not going to be allowed to just walk in the door and be on an active shipping dock where they could come in harm's way. So that's what we've got for you this week. Keep your employees safe.
