Milt checks in on the shipping department.

Welcome to another episode of Mondays With Milt. Today, we're out on the shipping dock. Now, what we do out on the shipping dock is have a big crew of guys here who are doing about 50 shipments a day. ANd what they really like about our products—I should say, what our customer really likes about our products is the way we have everything organized

So, right here you see an A-frame pallet. On this pallet, we stand the panels up. Every panel has a white label on it, that corresponds with the parts slip. It also corresponds with the approval drawing that comes in the hardware box.

Now, this particular job has several areas. So, to make this very smooth for the installation room, we've got brown tags on this particular set of panels, so they know when they go to that area on the drawing, they're looking for brown tags that tell them what goes where.

And then if we go over here and look at this set of drawings. These will be palletized in a few minutes. You'll notice that they have orange tags on them. So when the installer is out in the field, he separates everything and he knows "I've got brown tag area over here and orange tag areas over here." It makes it nice and clean for him.

One other thing we do here with our hardware boxes, we've got our name on every hardware box, so that way when everything gets brought in to the facility, they can see there are the WireCrafters hardware boxes. Get the pallets, get all the panels and posts together, and let's build a great cage.
