Milt has a job shadow for the day. Could this be Milt's replacement?

Hello and welcome to another episode of Mondays with Milt. Today I have a special guest; I have my nephew with me, Nick Savage. And he happens to go to the local high school that I went to, called Desales High School, and I'll let Nick tell you why he's here today.

Nick: So, at Desales High School, they highly recommend that we do a job shadow, so we can get more experience. I decided I'm going to shadow my uncle.

Milt: And I think he made one heck of a choice. Now, Nick, tell me what have you learned since we've been walking around for the past few hours?

Nick: Something I learned is that WireCrafters lives and dies by their loyalty to the distributors and the distribution of everything.

Milt: That's right, that's right. We do work with our distributors—that's how we build a market. Out in the manufacturing plant, was there anything that caught your eye?

Nick: I never knew how they actually weave all the metal together, so I got to experience how WireCrafters weaves their metal stuff together.

Milt: Put the wire mesh together.

Nick: Yeah. The wire mesh.

Milt: Exactly. Alright. And anything else that comes to mind?

Nick: Yeah. I got to see the over-size posts for seismic calculations.

Milt: Right.

Nick: That they can send to California.

Milt: Yeah, we do a lot of very tall cages and when you get out into certain areas of the country there are seismic calculations that have to be done on our cages. So, Nick, thank you so much for coming.

Nick: Thank you for letting me shadow you.

Milt: Enjoyed it.
